Central control for our global network of engineers is based in
SSCS's UK Headquarters in Derby, providing 24 x 7 responses, 365 days a year.
Parts Dispatch Centres are in place at each of our global locations
combined with general mobile engineering stocks of the more common
components / peripherals likely to be required for the current
SLAs within relevant engineers' geographic location.
Utilizing our Service Management System (SMS), engineers and parts
are speedily dispatched within SLA deadlines to the designated
sites. SMS provides continuous visibility and control over our
inventory, mobile engineering stocks, and engineer's movements.
Logistics control is critical to the success of any service
company and so is the speed and accuracy of the communications.
SSCS continually strive for higher levels of client / customer
satisfaction.
As mentioned elsewhere, SSCS is soon to implement a brand new
SMS application, developed in-house. This will provide even
more control and immediate benefits not only for SSCS but for
our many clients as well. SSCS engineers will have the latest
PDA-based mobile communications to revolutionise the way calls
are handled on site and provide immediate feed back to the Call
Centre. Clients will also be able to view in real time, over
the web, the progress/ completion of each service call.
SSCS engineers and logistics staff are constantly updated with
any amendments to a client's requirements and any equipment changes
or movements of equipment, ensuring that the engineers' and
centrally held parts are increased, decreased, or re-distributed
as required.
